Adobe InDesign User Group Community starts-up in Perth

This new chapter expands the existing InDesign User Group community in Australia to four groups across four states.

The first Australian Chapter launched in Sydney in 2004, followed by Melbourne in 2006 and Brisbane in 2007. Together the Australian User Group Chapters boast more than 1900 members.

The Adobe InDesign User Group is a community that is independently managed and run by Adobe InDesign software users and provides a forum for users to share, learn and grow their InDesign knowledge.

Initially formed by users in New York, the community quickly spread to other cities in the United States. Today, there are 41 chapters worldwide based in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia and New Zealand.

“Perth has a large InDesign user community,” said Cari Jansen, the Perth User Group’s Chapter Representative. “With the launch of a locally based User Group Chapter, members will have the opportunity to network amongst their own community and increase their knowledge of InDesign and use the application more efficiently in the workplace.”

The Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane chapters run meetings throughout the year. Attendance is free and there are no membership fees. To join this community and register to attend an upcoming meeting, visit editorial@sprinter.com.au.
