Adprint raises $32,000 for QLD flood victims

Adprint, which produces sticky notes for trade suppliers as well as onserts for Fairfax, donated 10% of all of its February earnings to the victims of the January floods.

Director Joby Graves told ProPrint that all Adprint’s customers, particularly those in Queensland, were supportive of the move.

“Even though February is a short month, we did really well. We got some great support from our customers and those in Brisbane were very thankful,” he said.

“From a strategic point of view, it has bolstered our profile, but we did it to help those in need.”

A final figure of $31,635, which was determined on Tuesday 1 March, has been added to the relief appeal’s total sum, currently over $231m.

Adprint is a 25-staff company that run sheetfed and web offset presses as well as specialist finishing equipment. The company brands itself online as Oxygen Paper.

Other printing industry companies to have donated to the appeal include PMP, which gave over $60,000, as well as a range of advertisers who raised $14,000 through ProPrint‘s charity drive.
