AGS launches cheaper and “less toxic” wide-format ink in Australia

The Nutec Emerald Trueco ink is designed for Epson printheads found in Roland DG and Mutoh large-format devices and comes with “fully compatible” cartridges and a free servicing option.

According to AGS, “The conversion from OEM inks is quick and seamless with no flushing required in the changeover procedure.

“When your existing cartridge runs out, just simply replace it with an Emerald cartridge and continue printing with no wastage,” it said.

The ink contains no hazardous chemicals listed by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which AGS said makes it safer than most OEM solvent inks.

The ink is available in 440ml cartridges and is designed for use in Epson DX4 and DX5 print heads, which are commonly used by Roland DG and Mutoh printers.
