Allclear boosts business since HP Indigo 12000 HD install

Allclear Print & Signs has been making strides and building on business since the company installed its new HP Indigo 12000 HD a few months ago.

The company’s managing director Anthony De Stefani mentioned that the printer has boosted its business with many clients requesting for jobs to be printed on the HP Indigo 12000 HD printer as compared to offset printers, regardless of quantity.

“Traditionally, in the old HP Indigos, only a certain amount of stocks can be printed on. But with the new HP Indigo 12000 HD, I can do all different stocks. And the speed and the quality of what can be achieved is unbelievable,” he said.

“We’ve got clients that are wanting jobs in the HP Indigo 12000 HD rather than our offset printers, regardless of what quantity it is.”

According to De Stefani, the HP Indigo 12000 HD, which it purchased through Currie Group, has also enabled the business to keep up with technology.

“Keeping up with technology is really important, and HP has helped me achieve this,” he said.

“Seventeen years ago, Allclear started as a traditional offset printer. We gradually moved into signage, then through advanced technology over into digital printing.

“We were lucky enough to take over a small business, with a staff of six in 2004. And now we’ve grown to a staff of 90, with four different factories around Queensland – it has happened organically over the last 16 years.

“Allclear is always looking to stay ahead of our competition and embrace the latest technology advances. I want to become the best and we want to stay ahead of our competitors, and that’s the reason why I bought this HP Indigo 12000 HD.”

The company first invested in HP Indigo technology in 2012, with the purchase of a HP Indigo 5500.

“When we first bought our HP Indigo 5500, we were quite nervous about it because we were traditionally offset printers back then and we weren’t too sure on where this path will take us,” De Stefani said.

“But when we started buying the first HP Indigo 5500, up till now, it has grown our business tremendously.”

Allclear’s purchase of the HP Indigo 12000 HD is the first in Australia.

“We are lucky enough to have the first one in Australia. We had the best offset presses in the world and now we have the best digital press in the world, the HP Indigo 12000 HD. Nothing compares to the quality and colour we get off that machine,” he said.

“Our partnership with HP and the back-up that it has provided has been the best; I can’t fault that. And to continue that partnership is really important to us. In this industry, having the support of HP has made it a whole lot easier.”
