Avery Dennison said it had come first in a benchmarking study it conducted of seven wrapping films from major manufacturers.

"The benchmark tests were conducted by three independent applicators at three different skill levels with the support of an independent wrap shop," according to Avery Dennison.

"Slideability, repositionability, air egress, conformability, application speed, removal speed and finish quality were evaluated.

"Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film ranked highest for slideability and conformability, and achieved the highest score for overall performance. Application times were also measured and Supreme Wrapping Film was rated the fastest to apply – almost 20% faster than other products."

The company's global vice president for marketing, Jon Maley, said customers around the world had also named Supreme Wrapping Films as the best on the market.

"Time saving, easy-to-apply, superior performance and long-term removability are the characteristics that vehicle wrap applicators and installers are looking for," he said.

"Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film provides all of these benefits and is available in a wide variety of colours and finishes."
