Disability services provider wins Signarama competition

A NSW disability services provider will have its name in lights after it won Signarama’s $8,000 Name In Lights competition which attracted hundreds of entries from across the country.

The Mai-Wel Group creates and provides opportunities for people with disabilities says it will use the prize to its name and logo designed, manufactured and installed as illuminated signage at its Maitland and Cessnock sites.

Mai-Wel Group chief executive officer Lynne Graham said she looks forward to having the eye-catching signage installed.

“It was a lovely surprise to receive the call from our friends at Signarama stating that we’d won the voucher,” Graham said.

“Having locked in some work with Jo and his team in the 11th hour of the competition, we are delighted to accept the voucher and are looking forward to installing our very own illuminated signage at one of Mai-Wel’s sites across Maitland and Cessnock over the coming months.”

Signarama brand leader Evan Foster said, “We couldn’t be more pleased with the Mai-Wel Group being drawn as the winners. The work they do in disability services is exemplary. I hope having their logo emblazoned in bright illuminated signage on their building goes a small way in Signarama helping them continue with the great work they do.”

In the coming weeks the project will commence in design, production and installation with the completed pictures to be posted across social media channels and the Signarama website.
