Eliot & Company to distribute Taopix

Eliot & Company director Eliot Harper said he was “delighted” to be moving into what he sees as a definite growth market.

“With a $389 million revenue opportunity in the US alone last year, the photo gifting and merchandise market opens up a new world of revenue streams,” Harper said.

“The markets in Europe and the US have exploded in recent years and there is no reason why Australia won’t follow suit.  It’s those that get in early, that will reap the most benefits.”

“Eliot & Company is well placed to help Australian print providers capitalise on this opportunity and has put in place a team to provide our customers with round-the-clock dedicated advice and support, pre and post-installation.”

In line with the move, Harper said he has “expanded his business support to include services for creating highly customised photobook websites for his clients”. One of these clients, Collingwood Print Group, recently launched a website entitled Photobooks ‘R Us.

“Our foray into the photo gifting market is a progressive step for our company,” said Martin Lindley, a director at Photobooks ‘R Us.

“We were looking for new ways to build our business and increase revenue, and when we saw Taopix, we knew this was our destiny. We are confident that our early adoption of the Taopix solution will help us become one of the front runners in providing photo gifting products to the Australian consumer.”

The worldwide release of Taopix 2.5 was announced this week.
