First Océ ColorWave 600 goes to Creffield

With another five ColorWave 600’s due to be installed locally over the next few months, Océ is crediting a successful showing at the recent Visual Impact Image Expo in Sydney for the machine’s popularity.

“The expo gave us the opportunity to showcase the new technology in advance and we were overwhelmed at the response it received,” said Paul Whitehead, Océ’s marketing manager for Technical Document Systems.

Creffield managing director Frank Veltman (pictured) said the new system fitted in well with the company’s plans to expand its print offerings.

“The ColorWave 600, with its ability to print on plain and recycled paper, gives us speed, price and environmental advantages,” he said. “The quality of the finish is exceptional and, to be able to provide printouts of this calibre on inexpensive paper at speeds of only 30 seconds for A0 size, opens up new markets to supplement our traditional plan printing customers.”

The ColorWave 600 will be officially launched in Australia later this month.
