Fuji Xerox on the Ball

Ball’s management background is primarily centred on the advertising industry, holding positions such as group operations director for Young & Rubicam, head of operations for Lowe Hunt/DRAFT, and production director at Euro RSCG.

In addition to this, Ball (pictured) has delivered lectures on production workflow and project management for the Australian Federation of Advertising and the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA), as well as serving as chairman of the Australian Creative Services Association (ACSA) from 2000 to 2004.

According to Fuji Xerox, this tenure saw Ball “raise awareness of PDF workflows, digital asset management, digital printing, soft proofing and remote proofing among the wider advertising industry community”.

“With many years of experience and in-depth market knowledge, Stephen is a great addition to our talent pool,” said Fuji Xerox Australia’s national PSB manager Simon Lane. “He not only understands the technical elements of key workflow processes, but also brings an agency viewpoint which will be invaluable in assisting our customers in their go-to-market strategies.”

Ball will be charged with overseeing the day-to-day workflow marketing activities of the PSB division at the company, as well as developing new software solutions for the Australian market, a task which will see him “work closely with the PSB sales and product management teams”.
