IVE swaps Seven Hills for Huntingwood

IVE Group has altered its plans for a new Sydney supersite, upsizing to a new location in Huntingwood.

The site was originally planned for Seven Hills, and was due to be constructed, although Matt Aitken, chief operating officer, IVE Group notes that as plans developed the Seven Hills site was no longer going to meet all of IVE’s needs. It is still to be run under the Franklin Web name, and Aitken says the company’s plans have not changed.

“The Seven Hills site was not being built to spec for us, the property was already being built and we were going to lease it. We decided we wanted a larger site to accommodate our future growth plans. The site in Huntingwood is owned by the same company, so it was a simple move.”

Aitken says the future plans include more finishing equipment than originally considered.

“Our timeline remains the same. We are continuing to make good progress to get the site operational in the coming months. The new Lithoman press will be installed in the Huntingwood site.

“Apart from the site change, everything is business as usual.”
