Jet Technologies sees ‘plenty of potential’ in NZ

Andrew Talaimanu, a former union player and coach, has taken charge of Jet’s New Zealand operations since opening the new Auckland office in mid-April.

Sales director David Reece told ProPrint that while Australian product managers had regularly visited New Zealand, the vendor knew it couldn’t properly service the country without a permanent presence.

Reece said Jet would focus on narrow web, wide web, general printing, inks and consumables.

The company said the move overseas was something it had long considered and noted it offered “plenty of growth potential”.

Jet has grown from four staff in 1999 to 39 today, according to Reece.
