Kwik Kopy says “there’s money in print” after being named #1 franchise

Kwik Kopy was also named Australia’s second best franchise across all industries based on a topfranchise.com.au survey of more than 1,000 franchises. Kwik Kopy finished 10th last year.

Worldwide Online Printing also made the top 10: it placed seventh, down from fifth in 2012.

Kwik Kopy chief executive David Bell said the company’s “strong franchise model” was based around giving franchisees thorough benchmarking, excellent marketing and sound financial analysis.

“You have all the benefits of running your own company but with the advantage of support and guidance to maximise your business success,” he told ProPrint.

“You also have the buying power of a bigger group and benefit from providers giving you the best price as they have gone through a tender process,” he said.

Bell said Kwik Kopy’s 102 franchises had a combined turnover of $80 million and were well-placed to thrive in a rapidly changing market.

“We are working to keep our franchisees one step ahead of the competition. We’re anticipating how the industry is moving and developing strategies to deal with that change,” he told ProPrint.

“We strongly believe there is money in print and are confident that we can make the most of the business that is our core. However, we are also excited to go to market with some new offerings from the second quarter of the new financial year.”
