LIA/Visual Connections industry gathering in Sydney

The Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA), together with Visual Connections, have planned an industry gathering in NSW, which is expected taking place tomorrow evening on April 21.

Organisers of the event say more than 50 people have already registered to attend, including members from Press Gang, Fespa, Old Friends Association, PVCA, Penrith Museum of Print, Women in Print, Visual Connections and LIA.

The event is being held at the Carnarvon Golf Club in Lidcombe, NSW, with tickets costing $30 and still available from this link.

The dinner, from 6pm to 7.15pm, will be an informal affair, designed to provide an opportunity to catch up and reconnect, and will also feature a short update on the Penrith Museum of Print as well as PacPrint 2021.

Organisers from LIA and Visual Connections say the event is open to individuals from all sectors of the industry, as well as members of the LIA and Visual Connections.

LIA federal president Mel Ireland said the upcoming social gathering is a welcome opportunity to meet up with industry friends and associates.

“After the non-events of the past year, it will be great to reunite with our industry colleagues over a meal and a few drinks,” she said.

“We know that people are keen to get together now that restrictions are lifting, and this will be the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy catching up on all the news while reconnecting with our industry peers.”
