LIA and Visual Connections to jointly host social gathering

Now that it is becoming more possible for Australians to get together again in person, the Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA), together with Visual Connections, are planning an industry gathering in NSW.

The event is expected to take place at the Carnarvon Golf Club in Lidcombe, NSW, on the evening of April 21.

The dinner will be an informal affair, designed to provide an opportunity to catch up and reconnect, and will also feature a short update on the Penrith Museum of Print as well as PacPrint 2021.

Organisers from LIA and Visual Connections say the event is open to individuals from all sectors of the industry, as well as members of the LIA and Visual Connections.

It’s also expected to attract members from a wide range of industry associations including Press Gang, Fespa, Old Friends Association, PVCA, Penrith Print Museum and Women in Print, among others.

LIA federal president Mel Ireland said the upcoming social gathering is a welcome opportunity to meet up with industry friends and associates.

“After the non-events of the past year, it will be great to reunite with our industry colleagues over a meal and a few drinks,” she said.

“We know that people are keen to get together now that restrictions are lifting, and this will be the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy catching up on all the news while reconnecting with our industry peers.”

Bookings for the dinner close at 5pm on April 16.

Tickets are just $30 and can be purchased here.
