The NSW branch of the LIA is touring the Blue Star facilities in Silverwater, followed by a dinner at Carnarvon Golf Club.

Taking place on August 2, the tour will take the group through both sheetfed and web facilities, in one of Australia’s most advanced print sites.

Matt Aitken, COO of Blue Star parent IVE Group, will be attending the event as a guest speaker.

LIA NSW says attendees will see a wide variety of production facilities, including offset litho and digital technologies.

“Blue Star Web is a leading player in the domestic niche heatset web offset market. It produces a comprehensive range of magazines and custom publications for the travel, tourism and financial services sectors,” says the association group.

LIA NSW notes that registrations will be checked by the hosts, to insure no conflict of interest.
