Machinery to be auctioned off at former Energi Print site

The 2004 SM-102 (pictured) and a six-colour Heidelberg CD-74 press are expected to fetch “very keen interest” when they go under the hammer along with a range of finishing, pre-press and factory equipment at the Keysborough site next Wednesday (22 September).

Peter Brand from National Auctioneers and Valuers, which is handling the auction, told ProPrint the company was just beginning to gauge interest in the equipment.

“We’ve got some late models in pretty good condition, so I expect some very keen interest in it all,” said Brand.

The auction follows the news that at least three printing companies are planning to move into the former Energi site.
