MAN Ferrostaal ends agreement with manroland

Manroland will be "setting up its own organisation" to handle their business locally, with MAN Ferrostaal currently representing them in much of south-east Asia, South America and the Pacific.

Whilst MAN Ferrostaal has declared it "business as usual", the move marks the end of a long partnership between the two companies, dating back to the days when the company was known as Print & Pack Australia.

"This partnership has been responsible for many major offset press installations in the region, ranging from small A3-size sheetfed presses up to entire newspaper plants," said MAN Ferrostaal managing director Markus Haefeli.

"MAN Ferrostaal will be focusing on those markets where we have a track record of success such as packaging with the Bobst agency, as well as prepress and print finishing with the likes of MBO, Kolbus, Palamides, and so on.

"We will also be concentrating major resources on our consumables service, which includes name top brands such as Kodak and Lüscher, amongst others."
