MBE store buys Iridesse at PrintEx

MBE Parramatta has purchased a Fuji Xerox Iridesse Production press, with owner Charles Batt signing off on the deal at PrintEx.

The store was recently crowned the top MBE franchise in Australia, and has the highest sales volume across the country.

Sprinter caught up with Batt on the Fuji Xerox stand as champagne was handed to him, to discuss why he decided to make the investment. As he tells it, “I have had the Fuji Xerox family of printers, the 1000 and 1000i, for me the Iridesse is the next step. The six stations with white and metallic is a main point for us, with the overlay of a clear gloss or silver at the end.

“Working with dark stocks, the two whites give you a lot more flexibility. I would not have bought it if it was not the best solution for my business.”

Discussing PrintEx, Batt says its always great to come down, kick some tyres, and see all the toys on the stand. He notes, “Ultimately you have to find something that will give the best bang for the buck. The Iridesse is what is going to do that for me.”
