McIntyre worked with Supply One for 15 years and said he built strong relationships with a number of suppliers, including Mactac.

DES signed a deal to distribute Mactac’s film and vinyl products in the wake of Supply One’s closure.

McIntyre, display graphics media product manager at DES said: “I’m delighted to take on the responsibility of this role with DES, and I’m looking forward to developing this market as it grows in Australia,” he said.

“DES has a deserved reputation as a leader in the graphics industry and I’m sure we can provide not just the high-quality Mactac products already well accepted in Australia, but exceptional service and support for those products to all our customers.”

McIntyre described the Mactac range as the “world’s best” and said that the loyalty shown by Mactac customers previously with Supply One had been “astounding”.

DES sales director Russell Cavenagh (pictured) said: “We’d like to welcome Bob to the DES team and look forward to working together to enhance and grow the support our graphics customers already enjoy by adding the Mactac range of products to our portfolio.”
