Mondi launches new recycled paper range

Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper is releasing a new range of 100 per cent recycled paper, Nautilus ProCycle, which will be available in Australia. The new range comes with Blue Angel certification, one of Germany’s long standing environmental certifications. Mondi says the partnership with Blue Angel will assure customers the new range meets high environmental, health and performance standards. Mondi marketing director Johannes Klumpp says the new environmentally friendly range was launched to satisfy customer’s needs.

He says, “Market demand for bright, white recycled paper with Blue Angel environmental certification has been rising for some time, and our new Nautilus ProCycle paper meets this customer need.” Mondi says the Nautilus ProCycle range also comes with ColorLok technology which it promises will deliver intense inkjet colours and faster drying ink. Klumpp says the range meets optimum whiteness of 140 CIE without using optical brighteners, in line with Blue Angel requirements. He says, “This is an important step in our product development that allows us to meet customer needs as a leading producer offering a complete portfolio of recycled papere. The paper provides a pleasing bright white with no tint.” Mondi will be officially launching Nautilus ProCycle at Drupa 2016, taking place in Düsseldorf from May 31 to June 10.
