Morgana adds to folder range

The company said that the machine, which can run at speeds of up to 6,000sph, “sets new standards of speed, productivity and ease of use”.

As well as creasing and folding in a single pass, the DigiFold Pro, which is running live on Morgana’s stand (20/B600, 20/C600 and 20/D600), can act as a standalone creaser or perforator.

The machine uses Morgana’s PosiFeed feeding system, which enables it to handle lighter papers and allows the feeder to create higher stacks.

The DigiFold Pro is JDF-ready, can perform a range of folds, and can handle sheets up to 780x385mm and stock weights up to 400gsm, including laminated material.

Quen Baum, managing director of Morgana Systems, said the new machine was suitable for a wide range of operators.

He said: “We wanted to make a machine that was accessible to the less-skilled finishers as that’s where a lot of this industry is going.

“Like Ipex, we’ve put a lot of effort into it and during the show, we hope that people recognise that Morgana is a brand to cater for all of customers’ finishing needs in the digital space.”
