MSA launches newspaper collator

The HSB (Horizontal Slant Bed) collator has been designed to handle small to medium newspaper runs.

It is capable of doing 3,600 sets per hour and can handle A2-A3 sheets and paper weights of 35-80gsm.

According to Yorkshire-headquartered MSA, the design of the machine offers more in terms of productivity, ease of operation and flexibility than its predecessor, while the large capacity cuts the need to stop for reloading.

Aberdeen printer Peters Design and Print has already invested in the machine and the company’s managing director David George said: “Everyone here is very impressed with the build quality of the machine, it’s a real credit to all concerned.”
