New STI Lilyfield MD aims to make firm “Australian market leader”

Stephen De Lorenzo is currently the chief operating officer of SPOS Group, which supplies retail shelving, ticketing and merchandising products.

He has also held senior roles at Panasonic, Coca-Cola and Nestlé, and served as chairman of retail marketing association POPAI Australia & New Zealand.

De Lorenzo told ProPrint that his industry experience covered production, design, sales and marketing. "I bring a full understanding of the process from start to finish," he said.

STI Lilyfield was acquired in 2009 by German packaging giant STI Group, which lists its turnover at $400 million. De Lorenzo said he was excited to join such a prominent group.

De Lorenzo said he would help make STI Lilyfield the "Australian market leader in point-of-purchase".

"Having worked in the point-of-purchase industry for more than 25 years, I know the STI Group pretty well. They are globally respected for their creativity and market insight in driving sales and consumer activation," he said.

Trickey resigned in May and will leave at the end of June.

STI Lilyfield said it has more than 100 staff and operates "sophisticated pre-press, digital, printing and finishing facilities".
