Oce reveals new additions to JetStream inkjet range

The machine, which will have its first placements in early 2012, can print at a maximum output speed of 127m per minute.

Océ is pitching the modular system at customers producing transactional applications, direct mail collateral or short-run newspapers.

The 1900 can print at resolutions of 600x480dpi at 127mpm, equivalent to 1,714 A4 pages per minute, as well as 100pm when printing in premium mode up to a resolution of 1,200dpi.

Damian Schaller, production print marketing manager at Océ Australia, said the JetStream 1900 unites the high quality and versatility of the compact series with high-volume production.

“This makes the Océ JetStream 1900 the most complete continuous feed inkjet system in the market,” he added.

Océ confirmed that existing customers of the manufacturer’s JetStream 1400 model will also be able to upgrade to the new 1900 iteration early next year.

The vendor has also expanded the JetStream portfolio with the addition of three new models offering output speeds from 100 to 200m per minute.

The JetStream 2300, 3300 and 4300 machines can print onto a maximum width of 29.5in with a maximum paper width of 30in.

Offering print resolutions up to 1,200dpi, the mono machines can print at 100mpm on the JetStream 2300, 150mpm with the JetStream 3300 and up to a maximum of 200mpm on the JetStream 4300.

Océ is pitching the new JetStream machines at a range of customers including those in the burgeoning digitally printed book market.
