Oki Data hires sales director

Oki Data has hired Tony Grima as its new sales director for Australia, bringing him over frm Fuji Xerox printers where he was general manager.

 

Alex Kawamura, ANZ managing director, Oki Data Australia, says, “We are delighted that Tony has joined Oki at this time.  His skillset and experience of working in business development in fast growth companies will be invaluable as we continue to accelerate our revenue expansion.”

 

Grima added, “It is exciting to join Oki with its passionate community of channel partner and customer advocates, breakthrough technology and revenue momentum.   I look forward to the journey ahead and helping Oki achieve strong and mutually rewarding results for and in collaboration with our channel partners.”

 

Grima has 15 years of management and sales industry experience, most recently as general manager, Australia for Fuji Xerox Printers. Oki says during this time, Grima led the implementation of a new channel partner programme, reconfigured the company’s sales pipeline and improved service levels.

 

With experience in several management positions including a period of 13 years at Avery Dennison, Grima is also across the wide format, and signage supply portion of the industry.

 

At Avery he was general manager first for Central Europe and then for Australia and New Zealand.  

 

Oki says in both roles, Grima improved divisional turnover, managed programs to boost productivity and customer experience, and reinforced the fast tracking of product development in support of customer innovation.
