PMG, Ducor and former Paragon Printing relocate sales and support to single site

The forms specialist is in the process of relocating to its new site in Scoresby and has also rebranded. A new website is due to be launched later this month.

PMG general manager sales & marketing Lisa Stark said: “We’re in the process of amalgamating the front ends of all three businesses. All sales, administration, finance and IT services are being amalgamated at our new Scoresby office.”

Stark said the company has also shifted its distribution and hand-line operations to Scoresby.

The company’s IT team is currently moving its operations to Scoresby, with the sales team set to be in place at the site by the middle of February. The company’s warehousing operations were already moved over late last year.

It will mean the group can market itself as a single entity, Stark said.

“We’ll go to market as PMG and run three plants individually,” she said. “Sales will be selling on behalf of every facility that we have.”

The company had previously been operating with three separate sales teams at three separate locations.

“It’s very hard to manage multiple brands,” Stark said. “You have too much duplication if you operate as three different companies.”

Stark added that streamlining would help “take out the confusion” for its client base.

“We had clients who were thinking ‘Okay, I have to ring PMG for that and ring Ducor for that.’ Now we’ll have the full company services available through a single channel.”

Stark added that clients would also benefit from price stability thanks to the stronger control over PMG’s costs.

The streamlining approach will also be applied to the company’s online operations. A new website will be launched on 24 January that “showcases everything the company can now do” as well as a new logo to replace the “antiquated” current logo, she said.

The new website will feature an enhanced online ordering system, bolstered by upgraded web servers.

Stark said no redundancies were expected from the move.
