Registrations open for inaugural HP National Conference

Registrations for the inaugural 2020 HP National Sign & Display Conference, and the associated HP Awards for Excellence, presented by ASGA and FESPA Australia, are now open.

The conference, which coincides with the Visual Impact Expo at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre at Broadbeach from 29 April, is themed A Shared Vision – Better Business Together.

The conference will commence with a Welcome Cocktail Party on the evening of 29 April, followed by two days of conference sessions on 30 April and 1 May. The two-day program aims to feature information sessions, inspiring keynotes, and plenty of networking opportunities.

Co-hosts FESPA Australia and ASGA recently announced the new conference, saying it was a “logical extension” of their activities and reflected the strong relationship between the two industry organisations, which support businesses in the sign, display, engraving, wide-format, screen and broader graphics sector.

ASGA general manager Michael Punch said the program will address some of the industry’s most pressing issues, including legislative changes and hot topics like the impact of fire ratings and the challenges of sustainability.

“There will also be plenty of business insights, discussions on topics like leadership, digital marketing, stress and burnout, and we’re also looking forward to hearing from four-time Olympian and Winter Olympic Gold Medallist, Steve Bradbury, with a keynote message on motivation,” he said.

On the evening of 1 May, ASGA and FESPA Australia will host the 2020 HP Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner.

“The Awards will be a fantastic opportunity to get together with your industry colleagues and peers, to recognise and reward the achievement of excellence and to celebrate our diverse, exciting and dynamic industry,” FESPA Australia CEO Nigel Davies said.

Those intending to attend the expo, conference or awards dinner can use the online system via the Visual Impact registration panel at www.visualconnections.org.au.
