Roland DG makes “major move” with Starleaton agency

The deal will see Starleaton pushing around 28 Roland DG models as well as inks and consumables through its national distribution network.

Starleaton director Gary Smith described it as a “major move” for the company, which already distributes Canon, Epson and HP large-format machines.

“Roland DG’s build and reputation sits well with Starleaton’s philosophy and we already supply a lot of media to Roland DG users,” he said.

“It’s a great fit in with our hardware range and enables us to offer signage and display total customer-care packages including hardware, RIP, ICC profiling, inks and media.”

The move will open up the roll-fed UV sector for Starleaton by boosting its print-only and print and die-cut range.

Roland DG sales director John Wall said the company was delighted to work with Starleaton.

“We are selective who we appoint as dealers and following meetings both here and overseas, we are comfortable that Starleaton will be a valued long-term channel partner for Roland DG products,” he said.
