Snap outlet installs Sydney CBD’s first Color 1000

The company, the first in the Sydney CBD to install the machine, upgraded from a Fuji Xerox 700 to the 1000.

Sales and marketing manager Warren Jones told ProPrint that the feedback had been “mindblowing”, particularly its green-focused corporate clients.

“The fact that it lays organic inks is very attractive for major corporations, as it fits with their environmental policies,” he said.

“It pretty much eclipses anything else out there.”

Jones said the 1000 press offered “a more comprehensive solution than any other digital press on the market”.

“Variable data personalisation is a growth area of our business and the Color 1000 Press, when driven by XMPie, allows us to create complex data merging applications with a guarantee of colour consistency and very accurate colour matching to ensure safeguarding of brands and corporate colours.”

Jones said the company, which also runs a Fuji Xerox DocuColor 8000 digital press, primarily handles work for corporations, advertising and design agencies in the Sydney CBD area.
