Spicers’ online store makes paper ordering more efficient

The portal allows customers to request quotes, check stock availability and place orders from the full Spicers range. It also flags stock availability and suggests alternatives if products are unavailable.

Customers can see their specialised pricing arrangements and can also access and clone up to 12 months of their order history.

Andy Preece, Spicers executive general manager of Australia, New Zealand and Asia, said the online store would make the ordering process more efficient.

"Online shopping is a reality in our society and we are making sure that our customers can access our whole range of paper and printing supplies at the touch of a button. We are also looking at developing mobile apps to fit with the latest technologies," said Preece.

Spicers, which is part of Paperlinx, began development of the online store last year. Customers can continue placing orders via phone or email.
