Surf’s up for Scott Print with major client win

The Perth-based commercial printer is handling the work for the Margaret River Pro, an international surfing event that runs from 16-24 March.

Scott Print's marketing and business development manager, Rio Chard, said the West Australian-owned family business was committed to supporting the local community.

"This, coupled with the Scott family’s love of surfing and the Margaret River region, make this event a perfect synergy for our business. It’s a great way to give back to the community and generate awareness of our brand within the market," she told ProPrint.

Scott Print directors John and Tim Scott – sons of the brothers who founded the company, Michael and Dudley – are both keen surfers, and travel to Indonesia together to surf at the Mentawai Islands.

Scott Print also supports the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, Down Syndrome WA, the Pink Ribbon Ball, Ronald McDonald House, the Great Pram Push and the Subiaco Football Club, said Chard.

"We have also just returned from the inaugural Emergence Creative Festival which was held in Margaret River.

"This was an event for the digital and creative realm and proved to be a great success and a sponsorship that we have thoroughly enjoyed."

Scott Print received FSC certification in December and is in the process of expanding its product offering to include document preparation and delivery, said Chard.
