‘Today’ show visits Melbourne printer

Brand Print Australia is on track to end September with two small business awards, state radio coverage and nationwide television exposure.

Owner Stacey Currie was interviewed on 9 September by 3AW talk show host Denis Walter after the station awarded Brand Print a small business gong.

The Melbourne firm may claim a second gong on 19 September following its nomination in the 'best small business' category at the My Business Awards.

Currie told ProPrint that she would also speak to Nine Network on 11 September when the Today show visits Brand Print's new Carrum Downs factory to film a story that will air at about the same time as the awards night.

She said it took Brand Print four attempts to make the My Business Awards finals.

"All of my dreams that have come true have been from years of knock-backs… I never ever give up and that’s why I believe we are a finalist. I write down my goals and take small action each and every day that eventually leads to hitting my big, scary goal."

Currie also said she expected to release her second book in 2014. She added that the book would explain how to grow a business and would feature a foreword from motivational speaker Brian Tracy.

Meanwhile, BPO Intelligence may also taste success at the My Business Awards after being nominated for 'best business leader'.

BPO Intelligence is the printing division of OCA Group. It supplies printing through Big Print Typo, which OCA acquired in March and renamed BPO Print.
