West Australian printer launches W2P service for “the smaller guys”

My Online Printer marketing manager Rio Chard told ProPrint that the service would allow smaller players “to access high-quality printing from the comfort of their chair”.

“We know that people with small companies and home businesses also need to promote. We understand their budgets might not be huge and we aim to provide a place where they can get the most from their marketing expenditure,” she said.

“Larger companies tend to need a different sort of solution with more of a hands-on service approach, whereas My Online Printer seeks to offer the same outcomes for a more economical price – perfect for the smaller guys.”

My Online Printer was launched in May by West Australian outfit Scott Print after 10 months of planning and development, according to Chard.

“The site supplements Scott Print’s current offering to larger businesses and agencies,” she said.

Clients can use free online templates to “design and develop material or upload their own artwork, get quotes, order their products and have them delivered to their door”. The products include booklets, cards, leaflets, stationery and pull-up banners, which are printed by Scott Print.

Chard said My Online Printer could handle run sizes of “one to thousands”, but it was thought “the majority of work [would] be up to 1000 items, with a focus… on digital printing”.

The company will service all of Australia and will print to international quality and colour standards, she said.
