Women in Print networkers hail “inspirational” keynote speaker

Heidelberg Women in Print coordinator Diandra Gavillucci said more than 350 women heard the founder of the cereal and muesli bar maker speak at the functions, which took in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

"The general vibe across all events was that it was a successful series. A lot of people went as far as saying it was one of the best yet, due to our speaker, Carolyn Creswell," Gavillucci told ProPrint.

"I think it was her professionalism mixed with her inspiring story, and she was relatable as well."

The Heidelberg Women in Print Facebook page had a lot of positive feedback about Creswell.

News Limited group category manager Jackie Connor said: "Best speaker yet… I could have listened to many more of her anecdotes, tips and advice."

STI Lilyfield's pre-press and digital workflow analyst, Franca Balsamo, said: "Really enjoyed the event, great inspirational speaker."

Gavillucci said the roadshow had been "a great platform for women to network".

"They benefit by sharing stories and understanding each other's position in the industry. I think that's always a positive outcome of these events," she told ProPrint.

The next Women in Print event will be held on 22 May during PacPrint at the Melbourne Convention Centre Clarendon Room.
