ASAP Repairs’ FAB Equipment arm to get PrintEx11 debut

The company is a subsidiary of ASAP Repairs, which recognised a need to launch a specialised sales division within Australia.

FAB will be showcasing its product range from a number of suppliers including Watkiss Automation, James Burn International and Mathias Bauerle at the trade show.

Head of sales Daniel Attew said he expected the Watkiss Powersquare 200 to generate a lot of interest.

“The PSQ 200 combines stitching, folding, spine forming and trimming in a single, fully automatic machine, complete with sheet feeder and high-capacity book stacker, to produce high-quality, square-backed books from 8pp to 200pp at 80gsm, or up to 10mm thick,” he said.

Also on display will be the Powersquare Bookstacker (pictured), launched by Watkiss last year at Ipex 2010.

“This high-capacity book stacker allows the operator to walk away from the machine for up to 90 minutes, while ensuring reliable, worry-free stacking,” added Attew.
