Fujifilm Business Innovation launched its new Revoria production printers

Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia has unveiled two new production press models under its new Revoria brand.

The Revoria Press PC1120 is a single pass production engine which prints 120 A4 horizontal pages per minute with up to two special toners such as gold, silver, clear, white and pink, in addition to CMYK.

It uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automatically correct photo images. In terms of paper size, it can handle thicknesses from 52gsm to 400gsm and lengths between 98mm x 148mm to longer papers at 330mm x 1200mm.

The new brand name is derived from the blending of “revolution” and the suffix “ia” which means country or land.

Fujifilm Business Innovation says the Revoria Press PC1120 is suitable for the high-end professional printing market, while the other new release, the Revoria Press EI Series, is a monochrome colour printer for on-demand printing for professional and office use.

Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia says both presses include new features for businesses that require greater flexibility, productivity, quality and that are eyeing new markets. Both models are now available for purchase in Australia.

“We are delighted to present the Revoria Press PC1120 and the Revoria Press E1 Series to the Australian market – our first cut-sheet digital print engines to be developed under the Fujifilm brand,” Chris Lynch, general manager, graphic communication systems at Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia said.

“The Revoria Press Series is a testament to our promise of continuing to provide our customers with new and innovative products, enabling them to extend their capabilities and expand into new markets with higher value print.”

Stable: New Revoria production press comes with technology which creates highly stable paper feeding for a variety of media such as paper containing dust and coated films.

This press offers a range of new applications, increased productivity, AI and automation technology.

Its key features include:

  • Air Suction Feeder and Static Removal Device for highly stable paper feeding for a variety of media such as paper containing concentrated amounts of dust, cohesive coated paper and film.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) which enables automatic image corrections for photo images. Each photo image is automatically enhanced based on its existing lacklustre condition such as the image being too dark/too bright, backlight exposure, correction of skin tones, and bringing out the hues in blue skies.
  • Prints at 120 pages per minute (A4 horizontal) while achieving high definition, high resolution prints of 2,400 dpi with its Super EA-EcoNote 3 toner, which the company says is the smallest toner particle size in the industry.
  • Features a one-pass, six-colour print engine, with up to two special toners such as gold, silver, clear, white and pink which can be used in addition to the basic CMYK toners. These toners enable high-value, high-quality printing allowing you to achieve a wide range of metallic colours, natural skin textures and more. The image data is automatically divided into five colours of cyan, magenta, yellow, black (CMYK) and pink. The fluorescent nature of the pink toner expands the colour gamut significantly resulting in vivid colours and smoother skin tones.
  • The feeder can handle paper of different thicknesses ranging from 52 g/m2 to 400 g/m2. The paper trays are compatible with various paper sizes for printing, from small sized paper of 98 x 148 mm to long paper of 330 x 1,200 in simplex mode and up to 330 x 729 mm for duplex printing.
  • A versatile in-line post-processing lineup that can be used for paper folding, saddle stitching, three-way trimming, and saddle stitching with square back finishing.
  • The high-performance print server, Revoria Flow PC11, performs RIP processing at 1,200 × 1,200 dpi and 10 bits per colour (1,024 gradations), generating high-quality image data.

Revoria Press E1 Series

Fujifilm BI says this press takes monochrome printing to the next level with excellent image quality enabling a wider range of applications.

Key features:

  • The Air Suction Feeder enables high-speed, stable continuous output for a wide variety of media types such as paper containing concentrated amounts of paper dust, preprint paper that uses powder, and cohesive coated paper.
  • Prints 136 pages per minute while achieving high definition, high resolution prints of 2,400 dpi output resolution with its EA-Eco LGK toner with extremely small toner particle size.
  • The feeder can handle paper of different thicknesses ranging from 52 g/m2 to 350 g/m2, and the paper tray is compatible with various paper sizes for printing, from small sized paper of 100 x 148 mm to long paper of 330.2 x 660.4 mm.
  • A versatile in-line post-processing lineup that can be used for paper folding, saddle stitching, three-way trimming, and saddle stitching with square back finishing.
  • Simple Image Quality Adjustment (SIQA) automatically corrects image quality by scanning a calibration chart, which improves the efficiency of image quality corrections.
  • The printers are equipped with copy and scan functions for office works.
