Geon, which won the lucrative Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) print management contract from Stream Solutions in 2009, described the two-year relationship with the beverage giant as “amazing”.
National account director Michael Jacobs called it a true “partnership”.
“It’s a word that gets thrown around a lot, but we have reciprocal business relationship and it is an absolute true partnership where they bring us in on projects,” he said.
At the August awards, Geon was named in the top three of the “Business Services” category, which was won by Spotless.
Geon chief executive Graham Morgan said he was “thrilled to be part of the night and see the calibre of the companies in the room”.
“Even better was to see the hard work and commitment to service of the Geon CCA team be recognised in such a highly sought-after award,” added Morgan.
Coca-Cola said its Supplier of the Year program was established to “to recognise excellent performance” from suppliers.
Packaging giant Amcor also scored a win, named as Supplier of the Year in the “Packaging and Ingredients” section.
