David Procter, general manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia says, “Our 2,300 square meter space at drupa will feature interactive demonstrations and hands-on displays designed to engage customers with the benefits of adopting digital technology and show them how easy it is to bridge the path from analogue to digital.”
To support the new customer-centric approach, Konica Minolta will launch Digital 1234, a simple four step business building concept that will guide and coach customers on how to identify, assess, justify and implement new business opportunities.
To meet the demand for business building applications, Konica Minolta will present the fifth edition of Printgroove JT Web Suite. Consisting of two flexible software modules – Printgroove JT Web 5 and Printgroove JT Man 5 – the new version provides customers with comprehensive make ready, web-2-print and powerful print management functionalities. Furthermore, a new hosted-based system, Printgroove JT Web 5 GO, will be introduced.
Meanwhile, the entire Konica Minolta production printing range will be demonstrated at the stand, from entry-level to mid-level production printing as well as colour and mono devices. Systems will be demonstrated in ‘real-world’ production print applications using Konica Minolta’s software solutions and third party ‘best of breed’ applications.
Procter continues, “There is no doubt the highlight for us will be introducing Konica Minolta’s first offset like digital B2 inkjet press. Our inkjet technology has been jointly developed with Komori, one of the leading manufacturers in the offset arena and utilizes a B2 cut sheet device that incorporates Konica Minolta’s 1.200 dpi inkjet head and ink.
“It features an output speed of 3,300 sheets per hour and will particularly appeal to commercial printers looking to replace their current offset device with a machine that fully utilizes the benefits of digital.”
