Orafol, the German manufacturer of high-performance self-adhesive special products and films, has won the Best Managed Companies Award for its excellence in management performance.
The award was decided by Deloitte Private, Credit Suisse and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung together with the Federation of German Industries (BDI) which considered strict criteria in four areas – Strategy, Culture & Commitment, Productivity & Innovation, Governance & Finance.
Chairman and CEO of Orafol Group, Dr Holger Loclair, said: “We place very high demands on ourselves – in product development, in service and in cooperation with customers and partners. I am very pleased that the enormous commitment and discipline of all employees at Orafol has received public appreciation through this award.“
The Best Managed Companies Award is an internationally established competition by Deloitte Private.
The seal of quality for outstanding medium-sized companies is currently being awarded in over 35 countries and since 2018 also in Germany. In the coming years, the circle will be expanded to include other leading economic nations.
In 2020 Orafol expanded its presence in Australia by growing its team and moving into a 4000 square metre facility at Erskine Park in Sydney. The new facility includes a new showroom and a training facility.
