PaperlinX reshuffles top jobs

Longmore says he will now focus mainly on some of the strategic growth opportunities for the Group, whilst working more flexible hours. He says, “I am not leaving the Company – just not working five days a week any more.

“It will give me more of an opportunity to work one on one with some of our future leaders and pass on the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the many years.”

Gordon Thomas will take up the role of Group general manager moving from his current role of Group national accounts manager.

Thomas, who has been with PaperlinX for three years, says he has seen the paper Industry change quite rapidly over this period.

He says, “What has not changed is that customers expect ever higher service standards. This continues to be what our merchant businesses are building and evolving.”
