Stick on Signs installs Dimense printer at Zest Image

Stick on Signs has had an amazing lead up to PacPrint with the installation of its Dimense 3D wallpaper printer at Victoria-based sign and display printer Zest Image.

As Zest Image boasts state of the art production facilities offering any visual solution, handling small to large format digital printing, digital displays, 3D printing, holographic projectors, illuminated signage, and more for retail, displays, signage and exhibitions, it said the Dimense was “a perfect fit”.

“The Dimense technology is changing the way people view wall graphics and wall décor. We are delighted Zest Image has embraced it. The Dimense technology has taken the European market by storm, and we are happy to see the progress it has made in the Australian market,” Stick on Signs said.

“The Dimense technology does exactly what its name implies – it ‘dimenses’ digital printing.”

This wide format 3D printing technology makes possible the printing of 1-1.5 mm high structures with water based latex inks on PVC-free substrates.

The structure and motif can be perfectly matched to each other, or the structure may be completely different than the picture itself.

To achieve this result, Dimense offers a complete solution: the Dimensor S printer, seven types of media (matt, pearl, suede, gold, silver, chameleon, Media Plus) and water based latex inks.

The roll-to-roll printer Dimensor S allows simultaneous printing with embossing in a continuous way. It is made of two major components – inkjet printer and calander.

The Dimensor S will be exhibited at the upcoming PacPrint tradeshow at Stick on Signs’ stand (H18).
