ADMA boss Rob Edwards to step down

Edwards (pictured), who has been at the helm since joining the association in 1993, described the decision as “bittersweet”.

“I have always believed that the best time anyone can leave a job is while they’re still at the top of their game. For me, that time has arrived,” he said.

“I will be leaving ADMA at exactly the right time for both the association and for me – when the house is in order and there are other adventures to be had. And after what will be 18 years at the helm, of course it is also very timely that the association be looked upon with a fresh set of eyes.”

ADMA chairman Tony Davis described Edwards’ contribution to the association as “immense”.

“We will be sorry to see Rob go, but understand his choice,” Davis said.

“The association is very strong thanks significantly to Rob’s leadership, and the board looks forward to working with him over the coming year towards the transition to a new chapter for ADMA.”
