Bob Armstrong has stormed to victory at the American print awards once again with 13 gold ‘Benny’ awards and a slew of silver and bronze honours.

Fellow Sydney printer Offset Alpine also go in on the action, winning a Benny in the booklet or brochure series category for its Seafolly swimwear ad collateral.

Armstrong’s Body of Work is a perennial contender at the Premier Print Awards, having now won 51 Bennys in four years and been runner for best in show three times.

The Sydney photography and print house swag this year includes 13 Bennys and a special silver award, as well as 21 second prizes and five third from a total of 39 entries – the most wins of any country.

Such has been its dominance that this year Armstrong and his team was called on stage to receive all their awards at once, to a standing ovation from the crowd.

Armstrong says while Body of Work is well known internationally for its constant award winning, it is largely unknown in Australia and so will be embarking on a marketing campaign to highlight its success at home.

“Body of Work is a bespoke product and with all bespoke products it must be endorsed as best of breed. It is essential in developing a bespoke product that it be continually benchmarked and the Premier Print Awards is the ultimate international benchmark,” he says.

Offset Alpine general manager Michael Bartlett says the company is always striving to achieve world’s best and thrive when working with like-minded clients like Seafolly.

“It’s an honour to be recognized by the international industry as a company that produces award-winning print,” he says.

The series included 2015 preview brochures and folders, kids and ladies brochures strut cards and an A5 wooden sign.
