The new CB 18 stacker has been designed for use with upper performance adhesive binding.
Products are supported on all sides in the pre-stacking unit and guided downward to the turntable in a “controlled manner”. The device can work with both compensated and uncompensated stacks.
The CB 18 can also be adapted to operate in the production of adhesive-bound magazines, catalogues, paperbacks, brochures and bookblocks for hardcovers.
It can be inserted directly after the three-knife trimmer or within the conveyor section of a binding line.
According to Muller Martini, the mobile stacker can be easily placed in the desired position within the system.
