Roland DG shake-up: new roles for Margetts, Wall, Stone and Birkett

Roland DG has promoted Marc Margetts and John Wall as part of a leadership restructure.

Margetts remains as Australian chief executive but has been given more global responsibility and a greater strategic role within Australia.

John Wall has been promoted from sales director to Australian general manager. His brief is to "consolidate industry leadership" locally and to "expand the thriving ASEAN market".

Margetts said the management restructure was designed to "address the ever-changing needs of our industry and future market needs."

"I wish John all the best in his new role as general manager. He has certainly worked hard to reach this position and I have the greatest of confidence that he will lead the company into a new era of growth."

Wall said he was honoured to accept his new role. "This is an exciting time for Roland DG Australia as we celebrate 25 years in Australia, and we look forward to continued success in this market and within the ASEAN region also."

Greg Stone has replaced John Wall as sales manager, while Conrad Birkett has moved to Thailand to drive sales and product marketing in Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, Roland DG will hold an open house on 22 November at its Sydney headquarters to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Australia. Click here to RSVP.
