TRMC’s ‘Power of Print’ webinars designed to help printers thrive and upskill with sales and business insights

The Real Media Collective has announced a series of 10 weekly ‘Power of Print’ webinars which are designed to help print businesses not only survive, but thrive, in a COVID-normal environment.

The ‘Power of Print’ series follows last year’s ‘Rebuild Together’ webinars which offered business owners crucial help in navigating the pandemic.

This new series will start on Wednesday June 23 at 11am (AEST) with The Real Media Collective’s General Manager – IR, Policy and Governance, Charles Watson, up first to give a rundown on the Australia and New Zealand budgets.

Konica Minolta, Media Super and Australia Post are supporting the series.

This website, Sprinter.com.au, which is owned by the Printer Media Group – the publisher of Australian Printer, ProPrint and ProPack.pro magazines – is the lead media partner.

Each week week Sprinter will publish the ‘Class Notes’ of each webinar.

The Power of Print webinars will help printers upskill their sales and business skills

In other sessions, Revolution Print director Leon Wilson will cover why building a brand helps printers bring in more customers.

Gordon Loch of the List Factory is also a speaker and will focus on how printers can upstream their services through data management and list facilitation services for their customers.

Other speakers are print customers who will provide insight into what they need when seeking print and mail services.

The Real Media Collective CEO, Kellie Northwood, said last year’s ‘Rebuild Together’ series received very strong feedback and as a result it has been decided to create an annual series.

“Our members and broader industry responded so well across the Rebuild Together series we ran last year,” Northwood said.

“We achieved over 24,000 engagement points for the webinar series and with the feedback being so strong we were determined to build an annual series.

“The Power of Print conference program has been running in the UK for over a decade now and we wanted to launch a similar program here for the benefit of our members and industry.”

Konica Minolta General Manager, Production and Industrial Print, Sue Threlfo, said the ‘Power of Print’ webinars share the same ethos as Konica Minolta.

“Konica Minolta are committed to sharing knowledge and experiences with customers to help their businesses grow. The Power of Print series captures this ethos,” Threlfo said.

“We see great value in the opportunity for the industry to learn more from customers, upstreaming supply-chains and our industry leaders who can share their experiences.”

Each webinar will start at 11am (AEST) on Wednesdays from June 23 and Class Notes will be issued to attendees, TRMC members and published on Sprinter.com.au the day after.

At the end of the series printed materials will also be distributed.

“We encourage members to listen to the webinars each week with their teams and discuss the content, then share the Class Notes to really engage and learn from the content being provided,” Northwood said.

“Our Rebuild Together books are being distributed this week as a reminder to the content from the previous series, we look forward to repeating this process as a reference people can use into the future.”
