Durst Oceania seeks three engineers in three states

Durst Oceania is on the hunt for three new field service engineers to work in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland to support the expansion of the business.

Durst Oceania MD Matt Ashman said the growth of the business has resulted in the need for three new field service engineers.

“In a nutshell – I need engineers – and I need them now!” Ashman said.

“Our first appointment will be a full time field service engineer to join our team in New South Wales and the ideal candidate for this role will have a couple of years experience within the industry.

“We will also be adding a full time service engineer in Queensland in early 2022 to support existing clients as well as the development of new business in this strategically important market.

“Our third appointment will be a trainee position in Victoria based at the Durst head office in Tullamarine.”

Ashman says as a small company, Durst is able to provide one-on-one mentoring across all facets of the business including spare parts, warehousing, technical sales and servicing.

“We will also provide the trainee with a full induction through the Durst Training Academy to learn all aspects of the industry,” he said.

“For trainees, Durst has a long history of providing pathways to promotion within the business. I started out as a technical sales engineer myself and the assistant to the CEO at Durst in Brixen also started as a field service engineer.”

Ashman confirmed he has recently completed a review of the Durst business in 2021.

“I would like to thank my staff and clients for their support in 2021 – particularly everyone that has endured lockdown again this year. We have been buoyed by the ongoing and continued interest in Durst products in the Australian market and I would like to remind the industry that now is a great time to review installed equipment and procedures as we prepare for the strong recovery in the near future,” he said.

“2022 is going to be an exciting year for the Durst Oceania business and we look forward to welcoming these important new staff members to provide the signature service and support that Durst is famous for providing its clients throughout the world.”
